Background

Sunfarm Solar is the largest supplier of commercial solar energy in New Jersey, with operations in New York, Puerto Rico, and Africa. Despite the scale of their work, their visual identity didn’t communicate the intelligence and trustworthiness the brand needed to compete for large commercial contracts. They were selling a sophisticated product without a brand to match.

What I Did

I developed a full brand identity built around the values of intelligence, knowledge, and trust. The logo, color system, and typography were chosen to feel authoritative without being cold. From there I extended the brand across a comprehensive suite of materials: stationery, an operations manual, and a multi-page brochure and eventually a website.

Why It Worked

The new brand gave Sunfarm the professional credibility to compete at the commercial level. The collateral system meant that every client interaction, from first introduction to invoice, felt cohesive and deliberate. This reinforced the message that Sunfarm was a company you could trust with a major investment.
